La Grande Boudoir Photographer | couples session | sneak peek

I am often asked if I do “couples boudoir” session and the answer is yes, but I’m very selective in who I work with on these types of shoots. It is a requirement that we all meet prior to the shoot, to make sure that we are a good fit and that everyone (including me) is comfortable and that we are all on the same page for the shoot and the final product.
River is a returning boudoir client and I’d photographed them together during a portrait session prior to their couples boudoir session. They’re possibly one of the cutest couples ever and I cannot wait to share the rest of this maternity-couple-boudoir session with you!

Portland and Salem Boudoir Photographer | relaxed boho boudoir session | Trista

Trista is one of the most laid back, but fun girls I’ve ever encountered.
I had the pleasure of doing a second boudoir session for her recently and we had so much fun!

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer | ballerina inspired session

My beautiful friend was in my studio one day for a boudoir session. Anyone who has visited my studio knows that I keep a rack of clothing in the corner, with various items on it. I have wedding dresses, lingerie pieces, accessories, and other random things. I’d just picked up this adorable pink lace dress and realized about halfway through our shoot that the dress would probably fit her. Sure enough, it fit. So, I proceeded to treat my friend like a real life dress up doll. Ha! Anyway, I remember exclaiming, “Oh my gosh, you look like a ballerina!” When I took the first shot in front of the window. And her reply? “Oh, I was in ballet growing up.”

Portland Oregon Boudoir Photographer | red lace, tattoos, and a vintage camera

You may recognize this beautiful mama, as I recently posted some b&w images from her boudoir session (click here to view that post). As you may have heard, I recently started incorporating vintage cameras into my boudoir sessions. I have a large collection of them and thought this idea was nothing short of brilliant. 😉 Anyway, I handpick a camera for each client, based on their personality, their wardrobe, or sometimes a combination of the two. Being a photographer herself, there was no question as to whether or not we were going to include a camera into Sandi’s session. No brainer.
I thought the black and red Sabre 620 was just perfect for this session!
Needless to say, she rocked the camera and her session.
