I think we’re officially out of fall color, here in Salem, Oregon. Fall is my favorite season and it feels too short. I snapped these photos LAST YEAR (uh, behind on blogging much, Kel?) with my Mamiya RZ 67 and some Kodak Portra 400 film.
I’m not going to lie… I find photographing tween boys to be a bit challenging and awkward. Tween girls, on the other hand, are so fun! This is one of my best friends with her fiancé and her daughters. I photograph them every other year or so, and I just love watching them grow up.
Yes, Michiko is one of my awesome assistants. You’ve probably seen her at a wedding, a boudoir party, or even at your family session. She is awesome! I love that she has booked a family session with me every year for the last 5 or 6 years. Her kids have grown and changed so much in that time! We had a wonderful time at Historic Deepwood Estate during their session.
This beautiful mama and I have become good friends in the last year or so. She’s funny, spunky, sassy, and awesome. So, yeah, pretty much just like me. Her kids are a hoot and were cracking themselves (and me) up during their session.
