Salem Oregon Headshot Photographer - Jia in black & white
I think these black and white images are a perfect way to showcase Jia’s elegance and gracefulness.
Salem Oregon Boudoir Studio - jewel toned romance
Something about these photos remind me of old Hollywood pinups or the cover of a romance novel. Regardless, I will forever be obsessed with this color palette.
Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - texture, texture, texture!
Miss K is all about the accessories and textures! She had pearls, sequins, lace, chiffon, mesh, and felt. I love texture, so it made my job all that much more fun. I decided to keep things really simple with the furnishings and background, as to not compete with the beauty of K and all her fabulous textures!
Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - lady in red
Kate totally rocked this red lacy bralette/underwear set for her boudoir session at Studio 22.
Salem Oregon Portrait Photographer - dark & moody portraits
I’ve taken a lot of photos of Porshe, but I think these might be my favorites. They’re so simple, yet so mysterious and alluring.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - boho + earth tones
Kate was absolutely wonderful to work with. She brought a fun attitude, as well as her smoldering eyes. This session was a beautiful blend of textures, movement and muted colors, in a very simple studio.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - ruffles, lace, and bows, plus a little bit of dancing
I photographed this session at Studio 22 in downtown Salem. I chose this location because I wanted a very simple, blank slate to shoot in, allowing the sole focus to be on this gorgeous woman. Miss S rocked all black outfits, but mixed it up with a dress, a vintage inspired bloomer set, and then a more traditional black lace lingerie outfit.
Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - bridal boudoir with veil
I love bridal boudoir sessions! Did you know that it doesn’t have to be done BEFORE the wedding? Occasionally a bride will book a boudoir shoot months, or even years, after tying the knot. It’s a great way to celebrate an anniversary, or it can just be less stressful to wait until you aren’t in the middle of wedding planning!
Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - Simple b&w studio mini session
While I do love a fun “set” for boudoir (like a funky vacation rental), I also love the simplicity of a blank studio…Especially in black and white.
Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - sneak peek with Ms. E
I can’t wait to share the rest from this session!

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - black and white simplicity (studio)
This stunning woman was one of my wedding clients a few years ago, so we had a great time during her boudoir session. She reminds me of a young Shannen Doherty, from the “Charmed” years.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - layered to perfection
I always tell my boudoir clients that I have “layering pieces” in my studio closet, so I love when I have an opportunity to actually show those pieces on my blog. Aly wore a simple navy bra/underwear set, which looked beautiful with both of these robes.
Portland Boudoir Photographer - alternative boudoir on b&w film
Boudoir doesn’t have to be light and airy and you don’t have to wear pretty lingerie. Sometimes it is dark and moody, with combat boots, funky tights, tattoos and piercings.
Salem Boudoir Photographer - keeping it simple
Boudoir clients are often overwhelmed, when trying to decide what to wear. Sometimes it’s best to just stop overthinking it and keep it simple. Grab a button down shirt from your closet (or your partner’s) and call it good!
