I would like to give a big thanks to my model, Katherine, for making this such a fun shoot! Just a couple of witchy gals, cackling amongst the trees. I haven’t been able to do a Halloween themed shoot for a few years now, due to my schedule, but I’m so happy that it worked out this year!
Elizabeth rocked this simple, yet elegant boudoir session. Side note: This teal green ruffled robe is available to my boudoir clients upon request.
Elizabeth absolutely rocked her session. She brought a lace gown, a cotton top, some thigh high socks, and a confident attitude.
I think these black and white images are a perfect way to showcase Jia’s elegance and gracefulness.
Something about these photos remind me of old Hollywood pinups or the cover of a romance novel. Regardless, I will forever be obsessed with this color palette.
Adela wore the cutest little lingerie set in a pretty shade of pink. We were fortunate enough to get some of that dreamy winter sunshine I love so much, and it just complimented her whole look. We shot this session at studio 22 in downtown Salem. They have great big windows that are perfect for dramatic light.
Miss K is all about the accessories and textures! She had pearls, sequins, lace, chiffon, mesh, and felt. I love texture, so it made my job all that much more fun. I decided to keep things really simple with the furnishings and background, as to not compete with the beauty of K and all her fabulous textures!
My favorite boudoir sessions are the ones women book just for themselves. There is something so empowering about celebrating and appreciating your body for yourself, rather than a partner. This goddess booked a sexy boudoir session to celebrate her 50th birthday!

I’ve taken a lot of photos of Porshe, but I think these might be my favorites. They’re so simple, yet so mysterious and alluring.
Kate was absolutely wonderful to work with. She brought a fun attitude, as well as her smoldering eyes. This session was a beautiful blend of textures, movement and muted colors, in a very simple studio.
I photographed this session at Studio 22 in downtown Salem. I chose this location because I wanted a very simple, blank slate to shoot in, allowing the sole focus to be on this gorgeous woman. Miss S rocked all black outfits, but mixed it up with a dress, a vintage inspired bloomer set, and then a more traditional black lace lingerie outfit.
I love bridal boudoir sessions! Did you know that it doesn’t have to be done BEFORE the wedding? Occasionally a bride will book a boudoir shoot months, or even years, after tying the knot. It’s a great way to celebrate an anniversary, or it can just be less stressful to wait until you aren’t in the middle of wedding planning!

I always tell my boudoir clients that I have “layering pieces” in my studio closet, so I love when I have an opportunity to actually show those pieces on my blog. Aly wore a simple navy bra/underwear set, which looked beautiful with both of these robes.
Boudoir doesn’t have to be light and airy and you don’t have to wear pretty lingerie. Sometimes it is dark and moody, with combat boots, funky tights, tattoos and piercings.
