Lake Oswego Senior Portrait Photographer - Noah at George Rogers Park

This was my first (and so far only) time shooting at this location and I loved it! I love shooting in new places and George Rogers Park was no exception as it was beautiful! There is so much variety and I really liked all of the hidden little gems for photo spots.

As usual, I’m ridiculously behind on blogging, and Noah actually just finished his freshman year at the University of Oregon. So, these were actually taken almost 2 yrs ago!

Salem Oregon Headshot Photographer - outdoor fall portraits

I’m always happy to do add a few headshots during family sessions, for those who may need a new one for work. Ashley needed some new headshots for work (she’s an attorney), so she threw on a shirt and blazer, after her family session, and we took a few quick shots while her wife got the kiddos loaded into the car. Success!

Salem Oregon Headshot Photographer - one person, two very different headshots

I have been photographing SheeAnna for YEARS and we have a blast every time. She’s one of those clients I just immediately clicked with (no pun intended) and I know we’ll be friends for ever, even though she recently moved far away.

Anyway, I love how different these two headshots are, even though they were taken only minutes apart.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - boho + earth tones

Kate was absolutely wonderful to work with. She brought a fun attitude, as well as her smoldering eyes. This session was a beautiful blend of textures, movement and muted colors, in a very simple studio.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - ruffles, lace, and bows, plus a little bit of dancing

I photographed this session at Studio 22 in downtown Salem. I chose this location because I wanted a very simple, blank slate to shoot in, allowing the sole focus to be on this gorgeous woman. Miss S rocked all black outfits, but mixed it up with a dress, a vintage inspired bloomer set, and then a more traditional black lace lingerie outfit.

Oregon Coast Senior Portrait Photographer - sunset session in Cannon Beach

I’ve known Ainsley and her family since she was in preschool, so she’s one of my “get to watch her grow up” clients that I adore so much. We had a great time doing some of her senior portraits at the Oregon Coast!

For those interested in doing your photos at the beach, just ask! I love beach sessions, but my Summer schedule usually fills up pretty fast, especially for out-of-town sessions.

Salem Oregon Branding Photographer - fun session with a cool therapist

I seem to do a fair amount of headshots and branding sessions for therapists, which I find amusing because that’s the only other career that ever really interested me. Maybe I’m somehow drawing them in?

Anyway, I had a great time working with Sharon. She’s funny, creative, and unique. I mean, how many therapists wear leather jackets and Vans to work?!

Salem Oregon Senior Portrait Photographer - kyle & his smile

I' met Kyle when he was a pre-schooler, so it was an absolute honor to do his senior portraits all these years later! One of my favorite things to do with seniors that I’ve been photographing for a long time, is to do a side-by-side comparison with an old photo next to a current one. As you can see, Kyle still has the BEST smile! You may also notice that he practically looks like a different person when he’s doing his serious face. He is a football player, so I guess he Must look tough occasionally.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - bridal boudoir with veil

I love bridal boudoir sessions! Did you know that it doesn’t have to be done BEFORE the wedding? Occasionally a bride will book a boudoir shoot months, or even years, after tying the knot. It’s a great way to celebrate an anniversary, or it can just be less stressful to wait until you aren’t in the middle of wedding planning!

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - Simple b&w studio mini session

While I do love a fun “set” for boudoir (like a funky vacation rental), I also love the simplicity of a blank studio…Especially in black and white.

Salem Family Photographer - annual fall photos with Anna, Ken, and Asha!

I know I say this every time, but I looooove working with the same families year after year! It’s such an honor to be chosen as their family photographer and it’s really incredible to watch these families grow and change. This family is a special one, though, as I’ve been photographing Anna & Ken since they got engaged, and I’ve watched them deal with some really hard things (like Anna’s metastatic breast cancer). Little miss Asha has brought so much joy their lives and I just love seeing that.

Anyway, thanks to all of my clients who keep coming back. Your loyalty means more than you can imagine in a business like this!

Salem Oregon Senior Portrait Photographer - sunset session in downtown Salem

We met up at Riverfront Park in downtown Salem for this session. Ember wore what she calls her “Strawberry Shortcake” dress and I love it! The color matched perfectly with her vibrant hair and also provided some contrast against the green background.

Salem Family Photographer - cute little family session in b&w

Asha took hardly any time at all to warm up during their family session. Within a few minutes she was laughing, playing, and enjoying here time with Mom & Dad.

Salem Oregon Boudoir Photographer - simple, fun, and elegant b&w studio session with Kate

Kate is an absolute joy to photograph. She has a beautiful smile, fun energy, and is really good at posing herself! We did this session at Studio 22 in downtown Salem, which is always an option for my boudoir clients, if they’re looking to do a studio session.
